About Us
The charter for Connie Mack Baseball was awarded to Upper Providence in 2020. This charter will be fed by all players living in the Spring-Ford Area School District. Our goal is to further the legacy of Upper Providence baseball.
Connie Mack Baseball is a community-based baseball league established in 1953 for players ages 13 to 16 years old. Games are played on a regulation, full-sized baseball field with 90' bases and a 60' 6" pitcher's mound. The league is managed by an elected Board of Directors who work to maintain the integrity of the organization, its mission, and all programs associated with it. There are currently 30 teams in the Bux-Mont Connie Mack League. The league will provide a competitive environment for players to learn and grow their skills. During the summer season, there is a regular season and a postseason tournament at all levels. Our area is a strong, competitive district, and the arrival of Upper Providence in Connie Mack will raise the bar.

Commitment
Baseball is a difficult sport that requires effort, commitment, and practice to achieve even a modest level of success. To achieve our goal there is a minimum commitment level required by all participants. Participants will be required to travel to game locations locally and within 45 to 60 minutes from their homefield. We ask that participants support their respective teams by making every effort to attend all scheduled practices and games. In return, the program commits to provide quality playing fields, proper equipment and uniforms, and a top-notch volunteer coaching effort to ensure that the participants develop as team players.
